Reusable totes or cardboard boxes?

Reusable plastic moving boxes arrive ready to pack with fitted lids. You do not need to assemble or tape the totes shut, and ToteBuddy collects them after you unpack. Cardboard may suit a move where you need to keep boxes for a long time, ship items, or pack unusually sized belongings.

Compare the full cost and effort for your move: boxes, tape, collecting supplies, assembly, and cleanup versus a tote rental, any delivery fee, and sales tax. Your total depends on the quantity and rental period; totes are not guaranteed to cost less for every move. See our published rental prices before deciding.

01

Choose your quantity and rental period

List what you need to pack by room. Separate bulky furniture and oversized items from belongings that will fit in totes. Standard bundles include 10, 20, 30, 40, or 50 totes for one to four weeks. The right count depends on your belongings, so avoid relying only on the number of bedrooms.

Leave time to pack before moving day and unpack before pickup. Need more than 50 totes or longer than four weeks? Send a custom booking request for availability and pricing.

02

Check addresses and access before booking

Enter both your delivery and pickup addresses, even when they differ. Delivery and pickup are free when both verified addresses are in Seminole County. If either is in Orange, Volusia, Lake, or Osceola County, one $35 fee applies to the entire rental.

Book Now requires both addresses in these five counties and within 60 driving miles of Lake Mary. Tell us about gates, apartment access, parking instructions, and any building delivery restrictions. Read the service-area rules.

03

Pack by room and label each tote

Use the included labels to identify the destination room and contents. Wrap fragile items with suitable protective material; totes do not replace cushioning. Spread heavy items across totes, keep lids able to close, and avoid loads you cannot comfortably lift.

Keep keys, medications, important documents, chargers, and moving-day essentials separately so you can reach them. Follow the rental use and care rules; hazardous or contaminating materials are not permitted.

04

Prepare for delivery, moving day, and pickup

Select available two-hour delivery and pickup arrival windows between 8 AM and 8 PM Eastern. Book Now requires 48 hours of notice measured from 8 AM on the next business day after booking. For earlier dates, use Build My Booking Request; requests require personal confirmation.

You arrange the transport of your packed belongings. ToteBuddy delivers the empty rental totes and picks them up after you unpack. Have totes empty, reasonably clean, and accessible at the confirmed pickup address. Request date changes ahead of time; availability and the rental terms apply.
